FillYourCup Hibiscus Margarita - Using Margarita Mixer and Hibiscus Tea


2 oz margarita mixer 

2 oz tequila (if using)

1 oz triple sec (if using)

1/2 oz fresh lime juice, plus wedge for rimming glasses

2 oz double-strength brewed Hibiscus Tea

Rim salt or sugar

Dried lime garnish



Use a lime wedge to wet the rim of a tall glass. Dip rim in rim salt or sugar. Set aside to dry.

Make the Hibiscus Tea: Combine 2 rounded teaspoons with 1 cup of boiling water, steep for 5 minutes. Let cool.

In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and hibiscus tea.

Shake well, pour over ice in prepared glass.

Garnish with a dried or fresh lime slice.



Omit tequila and triple sec for a Hibiscus Mocktail; add more tea if desired.

Use spicy margarita mix for a spicy version.
